Okuizome

Hello I am Milay. We celebrated my 100 days of birth. We had Okuizome.

Okuizome is a Japanese tradition that parents carry out on the 100th day after the birth of their child.
By performing the ritual, they hope their child will always have good food in abundance and will never go hungry for the rest of his or her life.

My grandma prepared a traditional meal for me.
It looks so delicious doesn't it?
I did not eat actually but just pretend to eat... I can drink only milk.
